Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Athena is a Chow Chow mix and was born about July 31, 2010. She is up to date on her inoculations, has been dewormed and needs to be spayed when age appropriate. Athena, her 3 siblings and their mother were 48 hours away from being euthanized when they were rescued. Athena is currently being fostered in a multi dog home. The foster family describes Athena as being very affectionate once she feels comfortable with you. Upon meeting new people she will be cautious before approaching you. Athena is 80 % housebroken and enjoys playing with toys. She is crate trained and can adapt to being confined in a blocked off area of a home. Athena enjoys playing in the yard and appears to enjoy cooler weather. She is playful and while under adult supervision has been around children. Athena does not display any signs of aggression when the foster mom takes her food bowl away while she’s eating or a toy right from her mouth. Chow Chows can be a handful with passive owners, but take the very same dog and put them with an owner who has natural authority and they will be polite, patient and well rounded, making an excellent family companion.
