Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Arrival Story: Lucky was recently rescued by a Good Samaritan who saw him get struck by a car on I-75, when he accidentally wandered out onto the busy roadway. No other drivers would stop after the impact, but this one Good Samaritan not only scooped Lucky up and into her car, but also took him for urgent vet care and paid for all of his vet care (which was a very costly bill). She did this out of the kindness of her heart.
Age / Weight: The vets guessed Lucky's age at around 5-6 years old. He weighs about 40 pounds.
Personality Description: So far, Lucky is being the perfect patient and tolerating all the handling by the vets and staff, as well as the various medical treatments, extremely well. He is good with other dogs and just as friendly as can be. Lucky acquired his name because we feel he is EXTREMELY lucky to be alive. Now, he needs another streak of good luck - to find his forever home. Could that home be yours?
