My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Remy is a 5-year-old shorthair mix with a sleek black coat and a gentle, thoughtful personality. He’s a sweet boy with a quiet spirit who may be a bit shy when meeting new people, but with patience and kindness, he slowly comes out of his shell—and when he does, he’s an absolute sweetheart! Remy is playful, smart, and a little vocal when he wants to be heard. He loves watching squirrels outside, chasing the laser pointer, and batting at dangly toys during playtime. He enjoys pets on his own terms and appreciates his alone time.

Remy also loves cozy little hiding spots where he can nap the day away and thrives in calm, peaceful environments. He’d do best in a quiet home where he can feel safe and take his time settling in. He’s great with other cats and would do well with a friendly feline buddy to help boost his confidence.

If you’re looking for a loving, playful companion who will reward your patience with endless affection, Remy just might be the perfect fit for your home and heart.

All of our cats and kittens go home spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on their core vaccines, as well as flea and tick preventatives. Each adoption also includes a 3.5-pound bag of Iams cat food and a free vet exam at one of our participating veterinary partners.
