My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bootsie, an adorable, 4 year-old Tabby mix with four, white boots. This girl is SUCH a character with a bigger-than-life personality. Not only is she very photogenic but she is one of the most animated cats I've ever had the pleasure of knowing!

Seriously, I think she'd make an excellent "muse" for a cartoonist or animator... with all her expressions and the way she communicates with humans. She often enters the room like Kramer, from Seinfeld, and has quite an extensive vocabulary which only adds to her charm.

And this girl LOVES to cuddle, be held, brushed and snuggle with you in bed or on the couch. When cuddling, she'll give you her full belly for rubbing and massaging. She'll also look up into your face with such a loving gaze... even reaching her paw up to gently touch your face. She's truly remarkable.

Bootsie will do best in a home where she's got another companion when you're not home... preferably with another female or a male who isn't antagonistic and doesn't play too rough. You'll find her full rescue journey chronicled in Photo Album #24 on our Facebook page: "Save The Leadwell Kitties" (including video and photo updates on all our cats and kittens). Be sure to check out her adoption video and fall in L-O-V-E!!

Bootsie's adoption will include her:
* Spay surgery,
* De-worming,
* Flea and mite treatment,
* FVRCP vaccinations,
* Rabies vaccination,
* Combo-test (for FIV/FeLV = negative),
* and Microchipping!

~ $150. adoption fee, adoption contract and home check apply / $250 for a pair ~

* Please only contact us if you'll be making this cutie a permanent member of your household and will be keeping her safe indoors.

** We do not adopt out kittens or cats where they will be the only pet at home. Kittens rely on each other for emotional support and continued social and behavioral development. For example: another kitten or cat will teach them when they're playing too rough or biting too hard. Plus, cats and kittens get very lonely when you're not at home! Having a playmate will keep them happier, healthier and out of trouble. **We offer a discount when adopting a pair!

*** You can also find all our adoptables on our Facebook page: "Save The Leadwell Kitties" (including their rescue story, photos and video updates).

Interested in becoming a much-needed foster? Please send us a message with your best contact info, the type of home environment you can provide and, most-importantly, the City in which you live. Thanks!
