Hey there, I’m Hendrix — a 3-year-old Hound and American Pit Bull Terrier mix with a striking tri-color coat and a heart full of love. I weigh 62 pounds, but most of that is charm, cuddles, and good vibes.

I came to the shelter on 04/16/2025 because my owner, who loved me very much, is going through a tough battle with cancer and couldn’t care for me anymore. It broke both our hearts, but I’m hopeful someone out there is ready to give me the next chapter of my life.

Let me tell you what you’re getting with me — a smart, house-trained gentleman who already knows sit, stay, and lay down. I’m a sweet, well-mannered guy with beautiful markings, and everyone says I’ve got a personality that just shines. I’m great with kids, friendly with other dogs, and even cool with cats. I’m also already neutered, up to date on all my shots, and I tested negative for heartworms — healthy and ready to roll!
