Take the Pet Home
This helps St. Sophia's Forgotten Felines with pet care costs.
Meet Firebolt, a tiny but mighty white and black older kitten who was left behind in an abandoned apartment. Nobody knows how long he waited alone, but Saint Sophia's rescue team gave him a second chance at life after he ended up at Chicago Animal Care and Control. Despite being a bit shy, Firebolt has a playful spirit and a heart of gold. When he feels comfortable, he'll come to you for attention and snuggles. He's adaptable and can get along with other cats, although he might need a few days to adjust. Firebolt loves toys and perks up at the sound of a can of food popping open – it's music to his ears! Like all kitties, he craves love and attention, and he's especially fond of petting. If he sees you petting another kitty, he'll hurry over to join in on the fun. This little ball of fluff is looking for a forever home where he can receive the love and attention he deserves. If you have a soft spot for shy but playful kitties, Firebolt might be the perfect companion for you. Will you give him a chance to brighten up your life?

Adoption Fees
Kittens (under 6 months): $150
Adults (over 6 months): $125
Seniors / Special Needs: $75
Please Note:
We cannot hold cats for any reason. Please only apply if you’re ready to meet and welcome your new companion within 3 days of applying.
Kittens under 4 months must go to a home with another friendly feline, or be adopted with a buddy. (If a kitten is excluded from this rule, it will be noted in their profile.)
