Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hero is a courtesy listing, and is now entering foster care. He and his brother Spunky were saved on their last day at the shelter. They were to be euthanized that night, but thanks to an angel with a foster home they were saved. If interested in adopting Hero and or Spunky please email an adoption application from www.snowdogrescue.com to andrea@snowdogresue.com. More info will come about on Hero once he enters foster care. New photo's also to come.
Straight from the shelter: I am good with other dogs medium to large size including with other males. I am good with all people with no signs of aggression in any way, and have some obedience training. I am a good family pet. Come meet me!! It is also very possible I am a purebred husky as well.
HERO
My name is Hero and I am neutered male, tri colored Siberian Husky with beautiful blue eyes. His breed is a huge discussion amoungst rescuers. It is very possible that Hero is a purebred husky with unsual markings, or possibly just a touch of shepherd in him. He is simply gorgeous. I am approx. 2 to 3yrs old. I am up to date on shots and will be neutered before adoption. So like Marc Anthony says, I can be your hero baby! Thats me. Your hero. I can sing you the Hero Mariah Carey song too "when a hero comes along...", or even make you a hero sandwich as long as I can be your very own sweet hero. I was just rescued from the East Valley Animal Shelter and am entering foster care 6/22. So come meet me and see what a terrific catch I am!! If interested in meeting me please complete the application on www.snowdogrescue.com and email to andrea@snowdogrescue.com
Huskies make great family pals, and love the companionship of other canines medium to xlarge size. They are a pack animal and consider there humans part of their pack. Because of this they truly enjoy being with there humans and canine friends. They are a fun, happy and active breed that promises to make you laugh and keep you smiling. As with any canines they need love and attention to be happy. This breed was born to run, and can be an escape artist easily scaling 6ft fences or finding the one weak spot in your yard. The Siberian Husky can NEVER be trusted off leash or in an ungated area for this reason. Many Huskies are hit by cars, stolen for their beauty, or lost and never returned. Please keep your Siberian Husky leashed and safe, and add needed locks to gates. They’re counting on you! Please read up on the breed to educate yourself, or contact rescue for advice on your new canine friend AFT E R adopting. Rescue volunteers will always be there to help you! Please note when adopting a Husky from the shelter – this breed is not cat friendly. If you have a cat please make sure it IS cat friendly.
