Hello there! My name is Summer, and I'm a beautiful and gentle six-year-old Cocker Spaniel lady weighing about 26 pounds of pure love. 💕
Let me tell you a little about myself. I'm what you might call a professional snuggler. My favorite thing in the whole wide world is melting right into you like warm butter on toast. I love nothing more than gazing into your eyes with all the love my little heart can hold. Sometimes I think I can see straight into your soul, and I hope you can see into mine too.
I'm quite the proper lady – you'll hardly ever hear me bark! I prefer to communicate with gentle nudges, soulful glances, and the occasional kiss. Speaking of silly habits, I have this quirky little game where I'll take my foster mom's fluffy slipper and move it somewhere else. I don't chew it or anything naughty – I just think it looks better in other places! It's my little way of redecorating and keeping foster mom on her toes. 😂
My foster Mom says I "go with the flow" – I think that means I'm very adaptable! I enjoy two walks a day to stretch my legs and sniff all the interesting smells, but I'm just as content curling up beside you while you read or watch TV.
I get along splendidly with other dogs – in fact, I have a 12-year-old doggy friend here who's bigger than me, and we're the best of pals! I love making new doggy friends and would be happy in a home with another furry sibling. While I haven't met many cats or children yet, I'm so gentle and loving that my foster parent thinks I'd do wonderfully with them too.
Car rides? I'm a champion passenger! As soon as the engine starts humming, I curl up and take the perfect nap. And when bedtime comes, my crate is my castle – I trot right in on my own because it feels so safe and cozy.
I have wonderful house manners and walk like a dream on leash. Toys are fine, but honestly, I'm more interested in you than any squeaky toy. Though I do have a soft spot for plush toys when I'm in the mood.
My perfect home would be with someone who has plenty of love to give and enjoys gentle companionship. I promise to be your loyal and utterly devoted friend. All I ask is for some walks, cuddle time, and a cozy bed to slip into at the end of each day.
