My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We love Happy so much. He is my son's love and he is sweet with family. He loves walks and cuddling. We heartbreakingly can't keep him. We lost our home in the Eaton fire and the stress has overwhelmed us all. Happy has gotten out of our new spot several times. He chased down the postman. He broke the front window trying to get out another time and tore up a blanket of ours when we were only gone 2 hours. The neighbors are freaking out already. I am terrified that we will be evicted. It makes my stomach hurt to think of giving him away. We don't know what else to do at this point. We could put him in a crate from 8-4:30 PM Monday-Friday. We can't afford doggy daycare. We do not know anyone else who can keep him for the next 1.5 years while we find a permanent new home. His sister Elsa also needs a new home, but I can't add them to the same rehoming request. She is a 55 lbs. box/pit mix who is scared of everyone except her family. She has a scary bark, but is very gentle.
