My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Spanky is a very sweet and friendly male yorkie, weighing 6 pounds and is 5 years old. He is somewhat shy initially but makes friends fast. He has a very good personality and enjoys walking and riding and is completely house trained. He does not like to be cornered and will snarl if you approach him quickly or startle him. Spanky has been fully vetted, is up to date on all of his shots and has had a micro chip. You must fill out an application if interested at www.NCYorkieRescue.org.

We do not make money on the yorkies we adopt to new families, we use whatever remaining money we have to help other yorkies in need. NC Yorkie Rescue, Inc. is a small group of dedicated and sincere yorkie lovers. We take all yorkies, regardless of age or health issues. We are in the process of applying for our 501(c)(3) and are a non-profit group. A home visit may be performed before the adoption is approved and an adoption application must be submitted and approved as well. All of our yorkies come with complimentary training sessions, either by a personal visit to the office or a telephone consultation, to help their transition into their new home.
