This guy has had it ROUGH on the streets. He showed up recently at a local feeding station covered in scratches. But he was instantly friendly with the feeder, indicating he was not a street-toughened feral but a wayward house cat. We got him fixed the other day, where he also tested positive for FIV. He likely contracted the virus from getting bullied by other cats, likely when he was just trying to grab food. He's been very docile around our cats (FIV+anf FIV- cats CAN live together without issue!) which makes his story even sadder. He never wanted to fight. He is such a sweet lad, he just needs a home where he can be appreciated. Let us know if you can help give this guy a break.
PS FIV has a bad reputation (people mistakenly call it 'feline AIDS') but with good care an FIV+ cat may not see any complications nor a shorter life span

More about this rescue
We're primarily a TNR volunteer group, we trap, neuter and return feral cats in the community. We often find tame cats or young kittens during these projects and these cats make up the bulk of our adoptable cats here.
