-Ladi came to us as an owner surrender when her owner couldn’t keep her anymore. She’s timid at first and takes a little bit of time to get used to you but she is very sweet. She was definitely a bit spoiled with her last owner but once she settles into a regular home and routine it shouldn’t take her long to get used to it. Shes already coming out and taking treats from us and accepting head pets! She is fine with being petted but not a huge fan of being picked up and will let you know of her displeasure. Chinchillas can live 20 years with proper care! We do not recommend chinchillas for children as they do not make good pets for children under 12. They require a specialized habitat with multiple levels, specific food, and regular grooming care.
