-These sweet girls were surrendered to us because their owners were not able to keep them anymore. These girls stunk to high heaven when they arrived and Peep is very stained indicating they weren’t in a very good environment but that should clear up with good care! They are very sweet and friendly and curious about everything and let us pick them up with minimal struggle and no nips! They are active gerbil girls (as they all are) and need a home that can provide them with a good environment and attention. They do best with large gerbil proof either tanks or wire cages that they cannot chew through with lots of chewies, places to climb, and dig, and somewhere to run like a solid bottomed wheel. These are not good pets for small children and do better with older kids or adults. Gerbils can live for many years with good care.
