Hi, I’m Sprout, but my foster family calls me Beansprout! I’m a playful, 1.5-year-old, 14lb energetic Poodle mix with a ton of love to give. I love to be outside, and I absolutely love to run! When I’m not running around like a nutball, I’m the ultimate cuddler. In the mornings and evenings, you’ll find me snuggling up with my humans, often rolling over to offer my belly for some good ol' belly rubs. I’m always ready for love, and sometimes, all it takes is a little chat, and I’m already flopping over for some attention. I’m happiest outside, whether I’m zipping around the yard or just sitting in the grass. I love to roll in it and slide on my belly like I’m in some kind of doggie race. Mud puddles? Yep, you bet I’m diving right in, but don't worry—I don’t mind baths afterward!
I think I’d do well with a fur sibling or two, especially if they’re active and ready to play. I do great with kids, but I should probably warn you—my paws might get a little too excited at times. When I’m not bouncing off the walls, I’m right there by your side, whether it’s sitting on the sofa, curling up on the floor, or resting in my crate at night. I’m just happiest when I’m close to the ones I love! I am still working on only going potty outside and have been practicing walking on a leash. I’ll need a patient family that is willing to continue to work with me and help me learn how to be a dog. If I sound like a good fit for your family, fill out an application to meet me ASAP! If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, the first thing to do is submit an application for approval. All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the rescue location as it is a privately run boarding, training & grooming facility. Individual meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters.
