Say hello to Rose! This gorgeous tiny girl recently came into rescue with seven other siblings/companions after their beloved mom passed away. None of these eight babies have been as socialized with people as other pups. Consequently, they are all a bit skittish and need to learn to enjoy human companionship. Right now she’s trying to decompress with Sissy, one of her companions...being away from their pack is a bit confusing. When surrendered, it was reported that Rose may have a little favoritism toward men, but she would learn to share life with a male, female or couple.
Rose and Sissy's foster mom reports: Rose is a beautiful tiny girl with a gorgeous red coat. She is extremely timid, but you can tell she wants to be friendly. She and Sissy are extremely bonded. She barks a good bit and has a huge prey drive, so apartment living would not be advised. When Rose and Sissy have been separated (to eat in separate crates) they act like they haven’t seen each other in days…..kissing each other and snuggling together. Foster mom spends a few minutes of one on one time several times a day, but they are most anxious to get back to their pen and snuggle in their bed. Rose seems to be okay with the resident dogs, but definitely prefers to be with Sissy. These girls will play with toys, but seem to have more fun wrestling with each other.
When Rose's vetting has been brought up to speed, she will be looking for a brand new forever home with someone of her very own to love and cherish her. She will need a doggy friend there to share life with! If that might be you, please submit an adoption application for Rose. This uncertain little one is going to require patience, love and kindness to gain her trust. She's precious beyond words and will be oh so worth it...
