Meet JJ, a 4-Month-Old Chow Mix with a Big Personality!

At just 4 months old and already 30 pounds, JJ is on track to be a big, lovable companion! This high-energy pup adores other dogs and is always ready for playtime, zoomies, and making new furry friends. Because of his breed, size, and enthusiasm, JJ would do best in a home without small children. We would love for JJ to go to an adopter who has experience with the Chow breed. If you’re ready for a fun, active pup who’s growing fast and full of love, JJ could be your perfect buddy!

Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and schedule individual adoptions in the Waynesboro, VA. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
