My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rona is a 5-year-old female Mini Aussie. She is loyal, very smart, and loving. Rona does well with other canines, walks well on a leash, takes treats gently, will not chew or get into anything she should not, knows some basic commands, is potty trained, and can sleep quietly in a crate at night (she would prefer to be in the big bed with her human). While Rona has a lot of wonderful qualities, she will not show them initially. Due to her background, Rona will need time to trust as she is anxious and is wary of strangers. She can be reactive until she knows you and will not make the best first impression. Rona will thrive in a very specific home. She will need a home with an experienced and confident dog owner. Someone familiar with anxious dogs and/or herding breeds would be a bonus. She will only be placed in an adult home (no kids). She does seem to prefer women. A house with a fenced yard so she can explore safely and someone who enjoys walking so she can get her daily steps in would be wonderful. She would also do well with a canine buddy as other dogs seem to boost her confidence. Rons is spayed, up to date on all vaccines, heart worm negative and on heartworm preventative, de-wormed, and microchipped. Rona’s adoption fee is $325.00.
