“Dogs have a way of making your life feel complete.” This makes us think of precious Peggy, who is our favorite redhead!

Peggy is one year old and weighs 32 pounds. She is so pretty with her gorgeous red coat and merry brown eyes.

Peggy adores being close by your side on daily walks and is so interested in her surroundings as she explores the beautiful trails on our shelter grounds. Peggy also looks forward to her daily outings in the fenced yard, where she loves to run and play.

Peggy is so sweet and good natured and loves attention and affection. She is always ready for a pet and a cuddle. Her beautiful fur is so soft and silky.

Peggy has enjoyed meeting two of her fellow shelter dogs in a play group. They all zoomed around in total joy and had so much fun. Peggy can be selective of her canine companions, so we do require a meet and greet if you have another dog to ensure compatibility.

Peggy is a bright dog who wants to please and should be easy to train.

She is going to such a fun companion!
