Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Microchipped, DOB: Nov 27, 2023
Meet Rufus, the cutest little kitty in town.
Rufus was surrendered with his bestie Herbert, through no fault of their own. Rufus is a playful little guy, being the young cat he still is. He’s all the best things you want in a cat – friendly, playful, energetic, and curious.
Rufus is unique in that one of his eyes is smaller than the other. It’s a congenital defect and he still sees just fine out of both those peepers. He’s also got a chronic upper respiratory infection which can be a drag when it pops up, typically during stressful times like big changes in his household. Symptoms will vary, but with supportive care and reduction of environmental stress, it can be well-managed. Maintaining a balanced diet, healthy weight, exercise, immune support such as probiotics and the reduction of environmental stress will help him manage the condition.
Rufus isn’t shy to express what he wants, and likes to jump on the counter to tap on his human, pleading for tasty treats. He’s a wonderful pet and brings lots of joy with his antics. Best case scenario would be for him and his pal Herbert to be adopted into the same home, but it’s not required. He’ll be your best friend either way.
