My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fiat is a handsome 3-year old male kitty who was found on North Hart Street in Marietta Ohio and was brought to the safety of our shelter on March 28, 2025 along with his companion Pilot (a beautiful female orange tabby cat). Fiat and Pilot were reunited with another neighborhood friend/relative (Odyssey) who had been brought to HSOV on March 25th.

Fiat has a black short smooth coat, a long tail, and an adorable chubby face with golden eyes, a black velvet nose, and long black whiskers.

This big fella was a little nervous being in an unfamiliar place, but within a few days he was showing off his lovebug personality and was soon snuggling in Lead Feline Kennel Tech Lauryn Hamilton's arms. Fiat enjoyed out-of-cage time for a little exploration and to stretch his legs while he was in our Receiving Area. He would love to find a home with someone special where he could pussyfoot around to his heart's content and snuggle up with his new family.

Fiat was given vaccinations, wormer, and flea treatment on April 1, 2025. He weighed 10 lbs that day.

Fiat is good with other cats as well as children. We don't know how he feels about canine friends.

Fiat was neutered on May 12, 2025 and was also given rabies vaccine. He weighed 10.7 lbs that day. Fiat is ready to find his dream home either through adoption or rescue.
