I am a 9 month old, neutered Terrier/Australian shepherd mix. I am microchipped, heartworm tested and current on my vaccines.

My friends at the shelter say I am a goofy guy who would love nothing more than to run and play all day long! They said I am super food motivated making me very trainable.

I should do well in a home:
I would do well in a home with other dogs given proper introductions and time to adjust. I love other dogs but I may try to herd smaller dogs. I would also do best in a home with children 8+, no cats/smaller animals. My previous parents said I would fit really well with a family that loves to play and exercise with me as I am super athletic, curious and also very attentive. They even said my previous trainer thinks I am pretty smart and would do amazing with agility training!
My favorite activities are:
I love to play with my toys by myself but I also really like to play tug of war with my people. I also enjoy playing with other dogs and in my previous home I used to go to daycare all the time! I enjoy my outside time, going on long walks and hikes and after I get tired I would love to snuggle on the couch with my humans.
Things I need work on are:
I could use some work on managing my herding instincts. Although it comes with my breed and I am still so young, I could use some guidance with controlling my energy levels.
