Pearl came into my life unexpectedly last November. I found her hiding in my garage, very thin and clearly in need of care. Neighbors mentioned they had seen her wandering for a couple of weeks, and after having her scanned for a microchip with no owner information available, I welcomed her into my home.
Pearl is a soft, timid, and incredibly sweet cat. She enjoys quiet spaces and gentle affection once she feels safe. Unfortunately, despite my best efforts, she hasn’t been able to find peace in my multi-cat household. My other cats are closely bonded and haven’t accepted her, and she spends most of her time isolated for her own safety.
Pearl deserves a calm, patient, and loving environment where she can come out of her shell and feel safe every day. She would thrive as the only pet in a quiet home without small children. With a little time and love, she will make a wonderful, loyal companion.
