A dog with a yellow banner is with us but is on hold and not ready to be adopted yet.

Pixie is a 1 year old spayed female Chiweenie Mix with a heart as sweet as her name. She was found as a stray in the desert along with her friends, Cheddar and Stevie. Pixie is a friendly and affectionate little girl who loves to cuddle up in a warm dog bed and relax after a fun day. She’s great with other dogs and would be an ideal companion for a dog-friendly home. If you're looking for a small, loving friend to add to your family, Pixie might just be the perfect match!

We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications. The Lovejoy Foundation, Inc. does not adopt beyond a 30 mile radius from our headquarters in Inglewood. Sometimes exceptions are made in a particular situation for an adopter further out than 30 miles which is at the discretion of the director.
