River was rescued from a hoarding situation as a very young puppy. We brought her into our home as a temporary solution, and have tried re-homing her with friends/family, but no one has the time or space. She is a sweet dog and loves to cuddle and play, however we have an older male dog that does not like her. She wants to play and wrestle with other younger dogs, but our old male (11 yrs) does not have the patience or energy for her antics. She loves kids and give lots of kisses. We are working with her on not jumping up to greet people, so she would most likely not do well with very young kids. She is mostly potty trained, but if you do not let her outside every few hours, she may have an accident. She is crate trained during the day because of this - she will not mess her crate, but if you leave her in the house free range for several hours, she will go potty. She loves to run and chase tennis balls, otherwise she is curled up napping with her head in your lap.
