Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, I’m Peyton – Your Future Furry Sidekick! 🧡🐾
Hey there! My name is Peyton, and I’m a 1.5-year-old orange and white tabby boy weighing in at just 5 pounds of sweetness and charm. I may be a little shy at first, but I promise I’ve got a heart full of love just waiting for the right person (and maybe a treat or two) to help bring it out!
I used to live in a big cat colony, so I feel most comfortable when I’ve got a confident kitty buddy or two to show me the ropes. I’m also cool with dogs—yep, those big tail-waggers don’t bother me one bit! I’m fully litter box trained and very neat, if I do say so myself.
Wanna play? I sure do! I love chasing dangling toys and those ball track towers—I could go for hours. And when I’m not on play patrol, I’m probably on mouse patrol—I’m a pretty talented little mouser. After all the action, I enjoy lounging in sunny windows or climbing up to high perches so I can watch the world go by.
Snacks are the key to my heart. Got a Churu? I’m your new best friend. Give me a little time to warm up, and I’ll show you just how sweet and playful I can be. I’d love a quiet home where I can settle in and truly thrive.
So, what do you think—room for a charming little tabby in your life? Come meet me and let’s find out! You can also call the shelter at (479) 394-5682 to learn more about me. I can’t wait to meet you! 🐱💛 **************** All animals at HSO are current on their vaccinations and will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption. If not already spayed/neutered, there may be a short delay between when you select this pet and when they are ready to go home.
Breed and age are determined based on observable physical traits. Actual lineage and birth date are rarely known.
Adoption Fees: -$60 for cats -$60 for dogs over 6 years -$80 for dogs 6 months old to 6 years -$100 for puppies up to 6 months
Come visit our pets Tuesday-Saturday, 10am-2pm.

When you decide to adopt a pet, we charge a fee to cover some of our costs. (Except for 2 employees, all others are volunteers!) If there is any problem with your adopted pet, call us to work out a solution. Occasionally, we do take adopted pets back, but very seldom. This is why visiting our shelter is so important! We are willing to work with you! And we appreciate referrals!
