Max is an adorable 3-year-old cuddle bug who blossoms into a loving companion once he learns to trust you. Unfortunately, his previous owner had to part with him when she couldn’t take him along to college. She described him as a charming mix of Chihuahua and Corgi, and it’s easy to see the delightful personality traits he inherited from both breeds.

Max is an easy-going pup who quickly adapts to his environment. He’s learned to use the doggy door like a pro and comfortably settles into his crate at night for a good night’s sleep. When you call him, you can count on him to respond with enthusiasm.

He thoroughly enjoys leisurely walks and is sociable with both other dogs and cats, making him a wonderful addition to a pet-friendly home. However, due to his initial shyness, we feel that a home with young children might not be the best fit for him. Max would thrive in a calm and nurturing environment where he can take his time to fully shine.

If you're interested in meeting Max, come to our adoption event on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 11am-2pm, located at 6300 San Mateo NE in the south Sprouts parking lot.
