My story

Hi! My name is Neva

I am a 6 year old, spayed Husky. I am microchipped, heartworm tested and current on my vaccines.

My friends at the shelter say I am a loving girl who loves everyone! They say I love attention and that I will make a perfect best friend for someone.

Housetraining Status:
I am really good at keeping my kennel clean in the shelter although when I go home I may need a little time to adjust to a new routine!

I should do well in a home:
I should do well in a home with dogs given slow introductions and time to adjust. I should also do well in a home with children of all ages with proper adult supervision. My friends at the shelter are unsure how I would do in a home with cat friends.

My favorite activities are:
I love getting pets from everyone but one of my favorite things ever is going on walks! I get so excited every time I see a leash. I may get so excited sometimes I can't control my excitement and I yell/whine.

Things I need work on are:
I could use some work on basic commands, even though I am a professional at "sit"

Doggy day out notes:
I got the chance to go on a few doggy day outs here is what I did and what all the nice people had to say about me;
1. I got to go on a nice long walk, bird watch, play with toys, meet some neighbor kids (which I LOVED!) and go for a car ride! The nice people described me as being a mix of calm and energetic, loving/cuddly, friendly, curious and playful!
2. I got to go on a walk, drive, get a pup cup, cuddle, practice "sit" and "shake" and NAP! I was described as being sweet, calm, an angel, nice and well behaved. Here is what they said about me, "Neva was such an amazing girl today! She went on a long walk and got to meet so many people. She will be an amazing fit for any family!"
3. "Neva is the sweetest! Hard to believe she is 6. She did so well on the walk and hike. We also came across some dogs and people friends on the trail, she did super well when meeting her new people friends! She sat like a good girl with lots of smiles. SUCH A SWEETIE!! :)"
4. "Neva did so good today! She was calm in the car and sweetly greeted every person we ran into. She enjoyed her pup cup, treats and playing in the yard. She also loved looking over the city on the bluffs, we took some amazing pictures. She's very photogenic"
