Finley is being fostered in Rowlett, TX.
Finley is actually an Aussie, Bernese Mountain Doodle, 4 months old as of April 17, and will be available for adoption after he recovers from his neuter surgery scheduled April 28. If you have an active lifestyle, this is the perfect dog for you. He loves toys and playing tug of war. He gets the zoomies daily, running from one end of the yard to the other. We are working on house-breaking, and he will go outside during the day on a regular basis. However, he tends to forget his training in the late afternoons and early evenings. We will keep working with him and hopefully be successful before he is ready for adoption. He sleeps in a crate at night from about 10pm until 7am and has not had any accidents while crated. Finley was born with both eyes underdeveloped. He sees fine out of his right eye, but only shadows from the other according to an ophthalmologist. But wait until you see those beautiful, light blue eyes! Also, because of his doodle mix, he doesn't shed at all!
BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.
