Meet Molly, an 11 year old calico who wears her heart on her sleeve—and her boots on her paws!

With her vibrant coat of fiery oranges, deep blacks, and snowy whites, she’s a picture-perfect beauty. Her striking green owl-like eyes seem to hold the weight of the world right now, as she adjusts to life back in the shelter after more than a decade in a loving home.

Adopted from us as a kitten, Molly lived a life filled with love and laughter until recently. With the passing of one owner and serious medical challenges faced by the other, the heartbreaking decision was made to return her to us through no fault of her own with two of her sisters, Smidge and Skippy.

Her previous family describes her as independent yet incredibly social. Molly was the kind of kitty who’d pounce into your lap, chat up a storm, and even sleep beside her owner’s head every night. She loved zooming around the house in bursts of joy, savoring tasty treats, and soaking up cheek rubs.

Understandably, Molly is scared and bewildered here in the shelter, her saucer-like eyes revealing her confusion about all that’s happened.

But beneath her nervousness lies the same Molly who loves attention, companionship, and the comfort of a warm home. She’s ready to fill someone’s life with her charm, quirky antics, and endless conversation.

Front paw declawed, spayed, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, and triple tested negative for FIV, FelV, and heartworm disease- Molly is seeking a quiet and loving home where she can rediscover her confidence, mourn her losses, and start a new chapter full of tender care and affection.

Could this sweet calico queen become your loyal companion? She’s ready to steal your heart—and maybe a spot on your pillow, too.
