Paprika is like that friend who swears they are an introvert but then charms your friends and ends up being everyone’s bestie. She is very silly, bright, and loving, and clearly enjoys being part of a family routine. Paprika also, much like many humans, needs that solo downtime to recharge between social times. Her kennel is her safe resting space and she will often be found opting for a nap in her own personal den.

Don’t let Paprika's small size fool you - this pup is not interested in being a pampered purse pet. She loves to run and play, but also can be found lounging in the sunshine living her best dog life. Her little legs have no problem keeping up with the big dogs on walks and she has shown a lot of curiosity about the world and drive for adventure. Once she trusts you she’s fine being picked up when needed and loves to snuggle next to you at the end of the day - especially for some of her favorite head scratches. However, she would rather get places with her own feet and thrives when given the opportunity for solo kennel time throughout the day.

Paprika would love to be in a home that can give her a mix of play and independence. She gets along with all sizes of dogs but would really love a chance to play with a smaller pup. If in a home with children she would do best with older children that understand her need for solo time and won’t try to pick her up unnecessarily.
