Hi, my name is Patches. I am a handsome black/dark charcoal grey and white, two-year old, male cat. I was named for the distinctive patch I have by my nose. Just recently, my family found my human sister was allergic to cats. Luckily, my original foster took me back and is now trying to find me a forever home. I am a gentle giant. I love having my head and neck scratched, and I live for belly rubs and treats. Chasing after wand toys is always fun. I would love a quiet home where I can lay by a sunny window or in a cat tree. Because I have medium- length hair, I need an owner who will brush me often to keep me from getting mats in my fur. I grew up in a home with a cat-friendly dog, so I should do okay with a calm, friendly dog as well as a calm, friendly cat. As far as children are concerned, I'm not a fan of sudden movements, so I think I would like older children rather than young ones.
