Chief is a happy, playful, affectionate, and loyal, three-year-old, 72-pound, male black and tan German Shepherd Dog looking for a loving guardian.
Chief is the odd German Shepherd who is friendly to everyone, even strangers; he is no guard dog.
Chief is housebroken, crate-trained, and knows the commands: sit, down, and paw. Chief loves people of all ages and is good with most other dog-friendly dogs.
His favorite treats are pieces of banana and apple. Chief came to rescue when his human passed away. He’s living in a foster home where he’s proven well-behaved in the home.
Chief loves to run and will bolt if given the chance. He is very healthy, recently neutered, and vaccinated for rabies, distemper, Bordetella, lyme, and leptospirosis. Chief is also micro-chipped, fecal-tested, heartworm-tested and on monthly preventative.
He loves all toys when he’s indoors, and loves rides in the car.
His adoption fee of $300 benefits the rescued pets of Famous Fido’s Rescue.
