This helps Dirt Road Doggies Rescue, INC with pet care costs.
BUGSY IN THE MIDDLE
Not big/not small (30lbs); not a puppy/not an aged senior (8); not vocal absent/not a barker; not with a forever family/not homeless (fostered)…in the middle. He has been hoping for his own person for almost a year now.
Bugsy came to us cowering in corners and under tables from whatever happened during his 7 years with the “family” who ultimately dumped him. His decompression time surpassed the norm; he had withdrawn into his own little world. But time, patience, and his natural curiosity and desire to be included eventually won out, and once he warms up, happy tail prevails. Bugsy can be quiet, timid, playful and running zoomies all within an hour’s time. Zero aggression or resource guarding, zero destruction. Very sweet, but because of past abuse, lacks confidence and can be sensitive to voice tone. Living compatibly with 2 other dogs (shelter said no kitties), walks well on a leash and good in a crate. Gives the softest little kisses, will fall asleep during a belly rub, has been known to put a gentle paw on a knee when ignored too long.
Available thru Dirt Road Doggies Rescue. Current on vetting; neutered; chipped.
