Birdie and her 9 siblings were born in late January 2025, 4 days after her mum was found scrounging for food to survive, with a collar so tight it had grown into her skin. They were a lucky family that a kind Canadian was visiting the remote beach in Sayulita, Mexico and took her in and fostered the entire family.

Birdie is medium energy. She loves to play with other dogs , toys and with humans. She is a puppy so still naps a lot but has little burst of energy where she loves to play and was her mama’s favourite playmate. She would do best in a home with other dogs. Birdie is now in foster in the Calgary area. She is mostly house trained, smart and well socialized. He has lived in a foster home with a young child, with lots of house guests in his early life creating a great early socialization experience. She tries out a bark during play but is otherwise a quiet dog.
