Miss Yellow is a female black with tan dachshund mix puppy. Her DOB is 2/6/2025 and she weighs about 4 pounds (as of 3/31/25). Miss Yellow is ready for adoption having had two sets of puppy vaccines and deworming.

Miss Yellow is a puppy of Cinnamon, Valentine #16, a beautiful chocolate and tan dachshund mix about 18 lbs who was surrendered to a local shelter on Valentine's Day along with 15 other adults, her puppies, and one other litter, all from the same home. Cinnamon has the sweetest, most easy going nature and did a great job with her puppies. All the dogs in the home were between 5-18 lbs, chihuahuas, dachshund mixes, and a small scruffy terrier. Among these would be the dad of the puppy.

Miss Yellow has white markings unique to her, white socks and a white tip of her tail. She is a social, observant pup. Miss Yellow jumps right in when play sessions start and can hold her own with sisters and brothers alike.

The adopter will be responsible for completing the appropriate vaccinations and continuing the puppy on heartworm preventive. The adopter must spay the puppy by 6 months of age at their own expense and provide documentation to the rescue.

A completed adoption application and, upon approval, an adoption contract is required. Jeff Tarpley Rescue welcomes applications from homeowners, renters, and condo or apartment dwellers. At a minimum, a phone interview will be conducted and a vet reference checked before the applicant may meet their preferred pet.

We adopt primarily in the 4 states of the ArkLaTexOma. Applicants willing to travel to Texarkana will also be considered with additional requirements to qualify as approved.
