What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Buggy is overall an extremely well-adjusted, people-oriented dog who loves attention. She is not anxious or reactive, does great on leash, though she will bark when someone enters the home. I have taken her camping in a tent before and she absolutely loved it. She lets me wipe her paws and clip her nails, loves being brushed, and although she doesn’t like to take bathes, she’s still a very good girl.
Buggy is great with other dogs and cats. She grew up with a Golden Retriever and lives with a kitten. The kitten was 6 weeks old and she was very, very gentle with it.
While she does great with children as well, she is very big and can be clumsy- she loves to paw for attention, so I would always monitor any interactions with children.
Since she did grow up with other dogs and people at home, I would prefer she go to a home with another dog or where she is not left alone for too long without anything to keep her occupied.
