Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet sweet Petey, a 4-5month old male puppy looking for his forever family/person/home. Petey was rescued from a homeless encampment where he was born to his doggie mom. Inhumane individuals have been dumping dogs at this site and we were asked to help. The mom dog is getting spayed and her off springs (Petey being her 1st off spring) have been rescued as well. Petey is a GREAT puppy who is friendly with all. He gets along well with his furry sister at his foster home and his younger doggie siblings (also rescued and mom's 3rd and last litter). We are still learning more about Petey but what we do know is that he is extremely smart. He loves to play with his football. Petey's mom is a gorgeous white shepherd, and we were told the father was a Great Pyrenees and was also rescued by another rescuer. Petey will be a large boy possibly 80-90+ pounds. He is learning basic commands already and understands 'sit' so far. He will need continued training as all young dogs should have and continued socialization. He is a complete sweetheart and will make a great addition to a person/family looking for a great pup to take on walks, hikes and just love on. He is also great with young kids. If you would like more information on Petey and would like an application to adopt, please text: 626-488-7487. or email: oneheartrescue@yahoo.com There is an adoption fee and home visit required to ensure our rescues are placed in the right home. Petey will also go out on a neuter contract (this means there will be a deposit an addition to his adoption fee to ensure he will be neutered when of age and we will continue to work with the adopting person/family). Thank you for considering a rescue pup!
