My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jackson came into foster care in early September. His new adventure included meeting plenty of wonderful people and to each he has openly welcomed attention and with a sense of gratitude. Jackson shares a home with 4 resident Britts and presents no issue with introductions, sharing bones or attention.

Jackson is not an alpha dog and is calm and quiet. In the past, he may have been handled with a heavy hand and eagerly learned that the hand gives love and food. He loves people and will walk close to you to make sure you don’t get away. He has graciously settled into the household and has transformed into a typical Brittany with a happy spirit. He is a quick study and will patiently try to understand what it takes to get that cookie. He knows sit and down but stay is a work in progress. He will need someone that will be committed to training with a soft heart and voice.

Jackson is a handsome gentleman in a goofy way with a sweet and loving personality. While the pack is chasing birds, he is stalking and pointing butterflies. If he ever discovers the birds, he will make an awesome hunter.

Jackson is heartworm positive and has received his first treatment. Second treatment will be early October. After, he will be neutered then ready for his forever home.
