My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Calm, Reserved, Curious

Cilantro is a quiet, reserved 3-year-old tuxedo gentleman with a heart as soft as his silky black-and-white coat. He’s still learning that the world isn’t such a scary place, and he's looking for a calm, patient human to help guide him on that journey.

Shy but curious, Cilantro prefers to observe the world before diving in. You might catch him exploring new corners of the house or quietly watching from a cozy perch, taking it all in with those thoughtful eyes. While he hasn’t shown a strong interest in toys just yet, he’s still settling in — and like any good spice, he may take a little time to bring out his full flavor.

Cilantro isn’t much of a talker (his foster hasn’t heard a peep from him!), and he’s not quite ready for snuggles. But past caregivers have noted that once he warms up, there’s a sweet side to him that starts to shine.

His ideal home is one that matches his vibe: calm, cozy, and full of gentle encouragement. He’s not asking for much — just a quiet place, a kind heart, and the freedom to bloom on his own time.

If you’re the sort of person who finds joy in earning a shy cat’s trust and watching a quiet soul come out of his shell, Cilantro might just be your perfect companion.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
