Lake Norman Humane utilizes a conversational approach for the adoption process to help find the best match for your household. Please stop in to speak with an adoption counselor Tuesday-Wed Noon-7pm, Friday between Noon-7pm, and on Saturday between 11-4pm.

No appointment is needed to stop by during these hours! Upon arrival, you’ll complete a short adopter profile, and our team will pair you with an adoption counselor to help find your perfect match.
We offer same-day adoptions, but if you have a dog at home, we require a meet-and-greet to ensure compatibility.
