Handsome Houby is ready to be your best buddy! He loves going for walks and does great on a leash, but he’ll certainly enjoy having a yard of his own to explore. Houby is a good sized dog and wants someone that can enjoy playing with him! Houby has good and playful energy, but may not be well suited to a home with other dogs that have dominant personalities. Houby has a nice relaxed and laid back kind of personality, he’s not much for playing fetch but he’ll make a terrific adventure companion! Houby is a touch aloof with pets or affection, he may be best suited for an adults only home.

Houby’s adoption fee is $250 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccinations and preventatives plus a free obedience class at Cedar Run Company in Hiawatha. Last Hope requires that all animals be kept as indoor pets only, be altered and current on vaccinations and preventatives. We look for applicants with current or former pets to have a demonstrated history of this, our adoption process includes a vet history check and a home visit.
