Merida is a sweet and affectionate four-year-old, 25-pound whippet mix searching for a loving home where she can be the center of attention. She has been adopted before into homes with other dogs, but over time, she became reactive toward them. While her triggers remain unknown, we believe Merida will thrive as the only dog in her new home.
When it comes to people, Merida is all heart. She greets new friends with enthusiasm and loves to be close, preferring snuggles and pets over toys. While she isn’t much for fetch, she does enjoy a good game of chase in the yard and would make a wonderful walking companion. Smart and well-mannered, Merida knows sit and come, and she takes treats politely.
Merida’s adoption fee of $225 includes spaying, vaccinations, microchipping, and a wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital. To meet this loving girl, call 602-971-1334 to schedule an appointment during adoption hours, Thursday through Saturday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.
