***URGENT ***** Needs a home/family to adopt her. Free transportation to almost anywhere (within reason) to the most loving home possible for the girl.
HARTSVILLE, TN - Lacey (aprox 7 years old; UTD and fully vetted). Miss Lacey weighs 92 lbs. She is extremely affectionate and sweet. Perfect dog for a home or person looking for a bestie!!!! She is housebroken and mannerly. She was treated for heartworms and is in the clear and very healthy. Sadly, her front teeth had been whittled down due to being on a chain for so long. She is free to a loving home. She is groomed and just the softest sweetest girl that just wants some love.
Lacey was found in a rural town crying after her owner had moved away 3 weeks prior and left her. Her fur on her backend is growing in nicely. She was treated for fleas and groomed when she was first rescued by Kelly.
She loves people, wants to be with humans constantly.. Very good with the groomer getting baths and nail trims. She was scared at first in Kelly's home with her dogs. But, at the new foster's place she has been showing curiosity. No barking or growling etc. She will be tested in a few days with other dogs and cats. She loves loves walks in the woods and does well on the leash. She also love being in the care.
Do to her being on a porch chain for so long, her leg muscle were a bit weak. But now weeks later, every day she is stronger and stronger. She would love a home where a person was with her most of the time. Her favorite treat is yogurt with fresh blue berries. A fenced in yard is a must for this sweet girl. Not that she is a runner, but for her to roam about and lay in the sun and meandering about the yard. She is the sweetest girl and deserves to live out her days with a loving person/family.
