Meet Norman, the office's beloved feline companion. At 6+ years old, Norman is a sweet, laid-back cat who thrives on attention and affection. He’s a social butterfly who eagerly accepts any pets or love from anyone willing to give it. He is often given the freedom to roam the office, exploring every nook and cranny of the workspace. But don't let his adventurous spirit fool you—Norman is just as content to settle down on your desktop, quietly waiting for you to finish your work so he can receive all the pets and attention he deserves. Norman’s coat is a bit longer than most, which means he appreciates a little extra grooming help now and then to keep it looking its best. Norman experiences chronic diarrhea (which may be due to stress at the shelter or could be a lifelong issue) but has always been a reliable litter box user. He is currently on a special diet to help with loose stools. Norman is a lovable, affectionate cat with a gentle personality and he’s ready to be your best bud.
All cats and kittens come spayed and neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fees are $50.00 for adult cats and $75.00 for kittens under 6 months old at the time of adoption. Our adoptions are done by approved applications, so you must apply and be approved before being able to meet any of our cats or kittens.
To be approved, you can apply in person or online at:
https://www.storycountyiowa.gov/1486/Adoption-Application
Applications can take a few business days to be approved and you will be emailed with communications regarding your application.
