Full transparency, I’m assisting my daughter and her fiancé in re-homing Nala. She was born 6/15/21 lives with 2 other older large dogs, a 2 year old toddler with another baby coming July 2025. They are a young busy couple with jobs, home, toddler and 3 dogs and have gotten a bit overwhelmed with another baby coming. Nala is wonderful! She loves to be outside no matter the season, but definitely an indoor dog. She sleeps in the toddlers room at night in her dog bed. She loves walk/jogs or running at the park. She can be vocal and some may say she appears on guard (protective), but if you walk up to her and put your hand out she will lick you. German Shepherds are working dogs, have lots of energy, need lots of exercise and while she has a fence in yard, it’s not enough and the family can not give her the attention she wants and deserves.
We think Nala would be best with an active individual or a family.
She also needs a fenced in yard to run!
