This helps Animal Rescue League of Iowa Inc. with pet care costs.
HOW TO ADOPT: This cat is participating in our Shelter Cat Getaway foster program, which gives cats a vacation from the shelter and lets them enjoy home life while they wait to be adopted. To schedule a time to meet this cat, please contact Mary at mmccarroll@arl-iowa.org or Carol at cgriglione@arl-iowa.org.
---
- Sassy, silly and playful kitty who enjoys sitting next to you
- Likes being petted all over
- She loves to have her face scratched - she is quite the affectionate licker in that once comfortable will take to licking a person's hands and face
- Not a fan of being picked up
- Uses her cat scratchers well, but is not too interested in toys
- Has done well with dogs
- Has lived with other cats and tolerates them
- Is not a good fit for young children and is looking for a more mature home
- Looking for a home with a patient, cat-savy adopter who will give her time to open up and let her take things at her own pace - she was very overstimulated in our care, but once in her foster home, she has relaxed, but will still need time to settle into her new home, and given space and time to set her up for success
All adoptable cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and FVRCP as appropriate for their age)
