Hagen is over a year-old terrier mix around 11lbs. He is a compact full of love type of dog. Hagen loves to follow his caretaker around and has started to like being a dog again. Hagen was abandoned with another dog in the middle of the desert left to fend for himself. He was terrified and it took rescue efforts over two weeks to finally catch this little pup. He is learning that people are good and enjoys sitting on your lap and getting pets. The way to Hagen’s heart is through his stomach. Hagen is slow to warm up to individuals, but with a past like his, who could blame him. Hagen NEEDS another dog. He loves playing with dogs of all sizes and truly lights up when he is around a good playmate. Hagen is continuing with socialization of cats and livestock and has been doing great. Hagen is good around children; older children would be best due to his size and shy nature. Hagen is still learning to be a dog again so patience and dedication, along with a little basic training, will be needed to foster the great potential that Hagen has. Hagen is the sweetest of boys looking for his second chance. Hagen is neutered, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, and dewormed. Homeownership and a fenced yard are required for this adoption to help with Hagen’s transition of new surroundings. This rescue will not adopt out to individuals who have unaltered domestic pets.
