Rakki means Lucky in Japanese. This guy was really lucky when some people trapped him in life threatening temps and brought him to us to scan for a microchip. They couldn't keep him and were going to turn him out so we took him in to prevent him from freezing to death! He is the sweetest thing. Whenever I walk in the room he flops all around. He is a bit shy but you can pick him up off the ground. He gets along well with the other female kitties in the room with him. Think he would get along well with any other nice kitty. We only adopt to people in the St. Louis METRO area. More about this rescue
St. Louis Pet Rescue is a non-profit rescue group focusing on saving pets from local animal control facilities and other neglect situations.
We do not have a facility. All of the pets we rescue are in loving foster homes. Foster homes provide love, care training, and, if needed, rehabilitation to the pets. This also allows the pet to be more adjusted when they enter their forever home since they are used to a home environment (versus a kennel at the pound).
