We got our Goose from a family member that had puppies! The dad was a purebred German Shepherd and the mom was a purebred Australian Shepherd. The puppies were born early September of 2024. So Goose is about 8 months old.
Goose is overall a wonderful boy, but he needs someone who is willing to be patient. He is very protective over the people he loves and takes awhile to warm up to others and other dogs, but that doesnt mean he wont grow to love them. Goose has quite the ferocious bark and just needs some help controlling it when meeting new people and doggie friends.
Goose would do well in a fenced in back yard, but he could also be invisible fence trained. We have him in an apartment right now on the third floor and it has not been the best situation for him. He is very active, he goes on runs and walks with us on public trails, but again he just needs some help with his social skills.
Ideally, with some invested time and training, Goose would be a great dog in any family!
