Hermes is an owner surrender looking for a new home.

Hi! My name is Hermes! I am a handsome 3.5 year old fawn boy that is an owner surrender due to another dog in the home now not getting along with me and for everyone's safety, it is best that I find my own forever home. I am described as friendly, active, smart, playful, affectionate, and nervous! I have lived with other dogs for 2 years before the other dog became unwelcoming of me and it is said that I am also kid friendly, although there are no kids currently living in my home. I do not like cats so I need a cat free home. I am house trained, crate trained, and at night I sleep in my crate or sometimes on the human bed for a few hours. If the owners must be away and I am left alone, I react fine while crated. When outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, toys (preferably indestructible ones), belly rubs, snuggles, and love! 1. Fill out an Online Adoption Application

2.Your application will be reviewed and sent to a volunteer in your area. The volunteer will contact you to schedule a home visit within one week. There is a $25.00 fee for a volunteer to come to your house for a home visit. This fee is non-refundable, but will be applied to the adoption fee when the adoption is finalized.

3. After your home visit is complete and you are approved you can begin meeting dogs. The person who met with you during your home visit will assist you in this process.
